Madras High Court allows Ghajini release
The eagerly awaited Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini will be released onThursday, as scheduled, as the Madras High Court on Wednesday lifted a stay on its release.
A division bench of Justices V Dhanapalan and N Satyanarayanan allowed the release.
Justice PR Shivakumar had stayed the Hindi film's release Tuesday after A Chandrasekaran, the producer of the original Tamil film of the same name, filed a suit saying that the producers of the Hindi remake had "fabricated documents to claim ownership over the remake rights".
It is being said that the move to approach court was just a drama to provide additional publicity to the movie which is already set to make new records.
